Stephania Sauco is the coordinator of the Gender Variance Program at the Meraki Health Centre, where she is closely involved in the care of gender variant patients and their families. At McGill University, she received a Bachelor of Science, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Art History, and is in the process of completing her Master’s degree in Educational Psychology. During her graduate studies, Stephania had the opportunity to complete an internship at the Montreal Children’s Hospital in the Brain, Development and Behaviour clinic as well as the Meraki Health Centre. Her experience within the health and education system helped further her interest in working with diverse and marginalized populations.
Stephania has a passion for education and helping her community. In her spare time, she enjoys advocating for restorative justice, working with circles of support, and spending time in museums!
